Ordained by God

Listening to module 1 and 2 just confirms what God has been doing in my life. Preparation is key. With the help of the HOLY SPIRIT, I started working on myself as an individual few weeks ago.
I have been asking questions about myself, life, purpose, relationships and marriage and I believe God is answering them through ministrations (by great men/women of God), scriptures (inspired by the Holy Spirit) and this course.
Trust me, God has a sense of humour 🤣. I was that person that will never attempt to study or listen to anything that has to do with marriage (long story for another time) but here I am learning about myself and preparing for my martial destiny. Your being featured on NHN IG talk show was ordained by God for this moment.

An awakening

It's been amazing. It has indeed been an awakening. The self-discovery and mastery session has helped me to know myself better, I have a better insight on questions to ask to know someone better. I have the knowledge on how to coordinate myself around my in-laws.

An eye-opener

It has been an amazing experience. The course drew my attention to the fact that I need to know me and understand me first before starting a relationship.
This is because the quality of a relationship/marriage is dependent on the quality of the individuals in the marriage. This is really an eye-opener. You need to know who you are and know exactly what you want. I can't say I want to go to Lagos and enter a vehicle going to Kaduna. It's two different routes and the only way to discover yourself now and forever is through the help of the Holy Spirit.
Be deliberate to meet yourself first with that you can be sure of who exactly to tag with in order to avoid future accidents (regrettable accidents) So I am intentionally meeting myself now, more than ever before😁.

Every dime was worth it

To The Awakener,
One of the biggest things I am thankful to God about is that I had you from the beginning of my process and then along the line Polished and Fit was announced.
Truth is at that time, I was a bit reluctant because every kobo was budgeted for at the time but I closed my eyes and went for it. Today, I stand here to say every dime was worth it. All my life I had heard about things you shouldn't do and then when it was time to do those things, no one sat me down to say; now that you are here this is how to do it.
The course modules were practical enough to help me with: -preparing for my big day the type of clothes, building a team, venues and relating with vendors.
- becoming a Bridezilla wasn't my thing because I had been taught and walked through that process in my head over and again. Prior to that day I had packed a whole box that had all I needed those two days for each outfits and more so, I had everything figured out.
- fast forward to the all anticipated first night, the course outline had a list of things to prepare with and the necessary state of mind needed. I wasn't nervous as I had been taught and yes we were tired, so we let it slide till we were ready and prepared, trust me when the time came, it was a beautiful fun moment because I had wings to rest on. It has since been an amazing process learning, relearning and unlearning. I anticipate the next session.
Take home: In a world where we are only told what not to do and never what to do and how to go about them we need to mount the wings of Eagles like The Awakener through Polished and Fit who has let down their wings for us not to fly but soar for better results. Truth is no one can better explain these sessions like The Awakener herself and then you get to have a first-hand experience for yourself with the information from the classes.

Simple but powerful truths

It has been an amazing time of learning for me. The course is worth the money, and I can personally recommend other polished brides to this course. The audio is very clear, our coach was very audible and practical.
Simple but powerful truths were taught here. Each module carries its own wisdom. I had a wonderful learning experience. One truth that struck me in module 1 is; I shouldn't expect my husband to meet all my needs. Look up to God as my one and only source, not my husband. This will make me be responsible and trust God, rather than out pressure on my spouse.
Also, develop a relationship with the holy spirit. He is there to teach me everything I need to know. The Marriage Preparatory Course has been super amazing. The courses are very organized, easy to access and listen to, even after a long time. I registered for the course after my Introduction.
The course opened my eyes to a lot of things: planning my wedding (both traditional and white), simple things like packing my honeymoon bags, packing my wedding boxes and carrying extra pair of things like jewelries which couldn't have crossed my mind if not for this course. And most importantly, the spicy wedding night😁 (I deliberately listened to this module a week to my wedding). It prepared me for the wedding night. Even in my matrimonial home, the effect of the course is at work.
I registered for one course and I gained a lot. I wonder what will happen when I take all the courses. I know that it will be an all-round transformation for me. I will definitely register for other courses subsequently, and I highly recommend the polished bride preparatory course to every bride and bride to be out there. You won't regret at all. Thank you very much ma'am for your investment in my life.
Also, my husband is also grateful that I took the course. He usually mentions that there is a huge difference between the me "now" and the me "before I took the course": In terms of independence from men and total dependence on God and in the way I treat him😊

Discover better ways of doing things

Taking part in a mini course with Mrs Fehintoluwa Ademola-Adetuberu sometime last year was one of the best things I did. There were teachings on relationships, first dates, meeting the parents, getting acquitted with the in-laws, ladylike behaviour and lots of other related things.
I was truly impacted and it went a long way to calm some of my anxieties about relationships. I gained some interesting tips on how to behave on a date, how to behave the first time you meet your future in-laws and subsequent meetings.
The reward and effects of these acquired knowledge cannot be over emphasized. I think every woman need to experience 'The Awakener' in some way, to learn new things, to be reminded of some things you know to do but have forgotten and to discover better ways of doing things that assures better results.

Answered prayer

I wanted to drop a line to say hello and a thank you for all the hard work you put into creating this program. It has been an eye opener and an invaluable resource in getting to know myself and in my transformation journey.
I have been asking myself a lot of soul-searching questions, and it has really helped me to be more intentional in clarifying and visualizing the kind of person I want to be; the kind of future I want and the kind of partner I want to build my future with. Some of the points discussed I already knew, but it was also good to have reminders on them. And I like the way you touch each and even some untouchable areas that we find difficult to admit to ourselves.

Confusion cleared

Was only a couple of days to my intro when the lockdown was enforced 🤦🏾♀️
However, the module helped eased me to be honest. In fact, I wondered why I didn’t get access earlier because I got a bit confused at the beginning especially looking at templates from friends the last couple of months and seeing so much mini traditional wedding introduction ceremony.

Real eye openers.

This course has been a real eye opener for me. I am better equipped to make the right decision and even better prepared for the life of marriage and parenting. God bless you! When I see lines like.... "Feel free to add to your learning"... 🙄 Am like what is it to add o? You went and did all the thinking for me already o. I am cruising o. This preparatory course na baba. Those marriage building blocks eh; you the awakener gave us 24. Chai. Serious spoon feeding. Me am not thinking again o.
It just gets deeper and sweeter. The sequence of arrangement is rich. I mean so rich. Gradually, this courses just took away my fears. My ignorance has been flooded with light. What????? Look at how am believing God for things. Being amongst the student alone EXPOSED me to things available by grace o.

Wow, wow, wow. So emotional 😢 I finally get to finish the course and didn’t want it to end. I’m so glad I took this lifetime investment. I’d thought of how I’d write an epistle before today, but those words like to run when you really need them. This last module in particular would be great to guide one through the foundation for my home, and I’m grateful for it. From the Joseph help, to praying for the children while bathing... 🔥🔥🔥loveettt.
Praying about every relationship in the life of our children: driver, cook, pastor, friends, lawyer, doctor, lecturer, EVERYTHING (that was an eye opener for me). In all, I never knew home management was so packed, but I believe God will give me Grace.

Learning and Changing

Learning is going well, but I think I'm even changing more than I'm learning. Or should I say I've reached the point where I am learning to change certain attitudes.
Last week was about my confessions (which I discussed with you). This week I'm coming into knowledge of my worth as a Kingdom Woman. As a result, I am setting boundaries. Thank you Ma. And we have only just started 😃 I know God is involved in this. When I was thinking about paying for the course or delaying, He asked me how interested I was in investing in myself. That question did it for me. I'm enjoying the course so far.
At the moment, the greatest insight I've had is on self-mastery. I've been spending time discovering myself and I'm not shying away from whatever truths I may discover. I'm also not afraid to come to terms with what I actually like or dislike. In the past I've been wary about being too fussy or setting impossible standards. But this course is encouraging me to be confident about the way God has molded me. Finally, since I have an inkling about how seriously you take confessions, I must say that I'm really being awakened. You are really walking in your destiny Ma.
But one of the beautiful things about this journey is actually about loving the process. And I'm excited about how I feel right now. I've been getting to know myself better and life is just full of purposeful activities. I bless God Just to let you know I finished session 1 last weekend. What can I say? 😃There was so much to unpack and some days seemed more productive in terms of growth, than others. However, I'm pushing forward.
Booked a dental appointment, booked a hair appointment, went to make inquiries about a driver's license. Getting back into volunteering at church this Sunday. Started an Instagram ministry page (struggled with this for over a year), etc. And these are just the physical changes. There are emotional and psychological changes still in the works.
I just thought I'd drop this feedback here. I may sound like a broken record at this point, but this program has been a tremendous blessing and motivation for personal growth. And hopefully update my profile picture 😂 I made my hair and some people at work didn't recognize me. Others were shocked. My boss kept saying, 'amazing! Amazing!'. Thank God for His glory!
I was telling my friend yesterday that you work so so hard. I don't have personal conversations these days without mentioning my coach! How much my perspective on things have changed since I started listening to you. To think I was telling you it was a bit pricey. Obviously, I had no idea what was coming!
One of the many things I have learned from you (through your module on boundaries and the one on offence), is how to maintain peace of mind and apply wisdom in relationships. Can anyone really put a price tag on peace of mind? If you increase your rates, I'll totally understand 😀. Overly worth it.

God sent

Your teachings are everything. Indeed, they make the difference. The preparatory school is God sent and I am sure God will use it to save many people.
It’s for everyone and every woman should have it. I don’t even know how anyone can proceed through life without it. Truth be told, taking the classes has proven to be my gift to myself because as God’s child I’m not suffering because I have knowledge. I would love to take more classes.

Broken Tables

One of the highlights for me was the module and assignment on purpose which was the first, I had never seen it in that light before and the assignment opened me up to begin the journey to fulfilling purpose.
A lot of tables I had in my mind were broken. There's one thing you keep on saying even on your posts to speak in tongues more, I recently realized that I had more fears about marriage than promises just this morning I decided to go through the word on His promises about this.

Knowing now I didn’t know and now knowing what I didn’t know

I never knew I had not identified my purpose. I now see why I so want to attach myself to a guy, thinking marriage would be a way out. I am stuck with knowing what my purpose in life truly is.
I feel like I don't have a mission or vision in life. I have been on that question since yesterday, I now know I don't know who I am. No wonder am not enjoying my single hood. So many unanswered questions but I am beginning to see where the problem lies.
I pray I discover my purpose so I don't feel like a man completes me. I really need help discovering this. Plenty gbasgbos.

Confident and better prepared

Goodmorning ma, today is the day oh. It still doesn't feel like today. I literally didn't sleep oh, still feeling so calm up till last night.
I am so thankful to God and for the lessons learnt all through the course and the checklist. I just thought I express my gratitude to you again. Thanks for your positive impact in my life and for being a blessing. It truly pays to prepare to avoid last minute rush. I love and appreciate you ma.
Thank you so much for being a blessing to me through the modules. I am glad I took the whole course; it was worth it. It has indeed awakened me and I Have learnt a lot. I am now well informed and gain clarity and insight. I remembered when I enrolled in the course, I wasn't in a serious relationship. In between taking the course, I was found by my spouse and we did our court and traditional wedding. We are planning to do our white wedding. The resources were really timely. All I need and MORE!!

My story will be long. So I hesitated for so many reasons but I was comfortable with the title of the class, the session; I didn't have to be in a relationship, it sounded like a class I needed for myself and that tallied with the phase I am in right now.
I also have short attention span so I had told God, one way I will know if this class is your will. lol is how I will be able to follow. Chai! That session is real, it's timely, it's all I need and MORE!! There is so much to -do, you know there's practicality in there not just a session of reading out, it's a session of teaching and relating it to our reality.

I am proud to say; I saw you and saw what the Lord was doing and going to do with you. You might not recall this, but in 2009 (many years ago), we had an intense conversation on weaknesses and spiritual development. That evening in Lagos opened me up to see a different path to my journey. You made my journey in Christ more impact-full.

Highly recommended

As a virgin bride to be I did not have clarity on what to do and how to prepare myself for my wedding night. I had read a book to help but I still had questions. Wedding Night Encounter answered those questions. It is easy to read, filled with humour and you feel like you are having a conversation. It is a book I will recommend to newlyweds irrespective of their location or religion. I would also encourage churches to adopt this module as part of their pre wedding counselling.

Your course is amazing. My marriage planner is almost full. I am almost transcribing the entire class. I am so inspired with what you’re doing. I had to do a meal time table for our meals when I saw I couldn’t cope. It has helped a lot. Planning actually gives direction and helps reduce stress. My husband is just looking like see how my wife has transformed. He’s even asking; have you listened to your polished and fit audio today? Just wanted to stop by and thank you before I continue. Can’t get over it

I have listened to module 3 multiple times and it’s like I am still listening to it for the first time. I need to be pruned. I am so guilty of so many things shared there but the humour you infused, just makes it so easy to relate with.
